Mia Yim Facts

She spent most of her younger years in Virginia.

Mia developed an interest in wrestling during her younger years and began training in the sport while in school in Manassas, Virginia. She was 18 at the time and was attending college and training there for 18 months.

She made her debut as a professional wrestler on August 22, 2009, as an independent wrestler in Virginia.

Yim appeared in the WWE several times as one of South African retired professional wrestler Adam Rose‘s rose buds from 2014 and 2015.

Mia played volleyball until her senior year of college.

She returned to the WWE on July 13, 2017, as a constant at the Mae Young Classic tournament, where she defeated wrestler Sarah Logan. However, she was eliminated in the second round of the competition. A year later on August 9, 2018, she returned for a second time this time defeating Allysin Kay.

On September 24, 2018, she signed up with the WWE and began working with NXT.

She made her debut with NXT on October 24, 2018.

Mia made her return to TNA on May 7, 2022, at the Under Siege, before finally returning to the WWE on November 7, 2022, under the stage name “Michin”.

She was featured in her first video game as a playable character in WWE 2K20 and WWE 2K22.
